Former Jll Apac Ceo Anthony Couse Joins Elevate Capital Partner
Elevate Capital Group has recently announced the addition of Anthony Couse to their team as a partner. In a press release dated September 8, it was revealed that Couse, who previously served as the CEO for Asia Pacific (Apac) at JLL, will collaborate with Elevate’s founder and managing partner, Ashish Manchharam, to drive the company’s expansion. Couse’s focus will be on fostering investor partnerships, expanding the firm’s acquisitions, and improving its asset management strategies.
Having dedicated over 35 years of his career to JLL, Couse brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He most recently served as the Apac CEO from 2016 until January 2025. Prior to that, he held the position of managing director for Eastern China and Shanghai for over a decade, and also spent 12 years at JLL’s Hong Kong office.
Manchharam, who also began his career at JLL, is thrilled about the partnership with Couse. He says, “Anthony and I have worked together in the past, and I have always been impressed by his ability to navigate complex markets with confidence and clarity.”
Manchharam’s own journey at JLL spanned 12 years, during which he focused on investment deals and capital markets across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the wider region. In 2014, he left JLL and went on to establish his own real estate investment firm, 8M Real Estate. He later sold his share of the company to Hong Kong-based Crane Capital in 2023, and in 2024, he founded Elevate.
