New Launch Condo Singapore

Thomson Medical Group Launches Rm18 Bil Johor Bay Development

Thomson Medical Group has recently launched its highly anticipated Johor Bay integrated project, which is estimated to have a gross development value of RM18 billion. The project, spread over a 26-acre site within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, will encompass various elements such as healthcare, luxury residential and hospitality, commercial, and lifestyle components.

Strategically located just 1.2km from the upcoming RTS station at Bukit Chagar, and in close proximity to the Causeway and regional ferry terminals, the Thomson Medical Group’s project is set to take advantage of the thriving cross-border capital investments in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.

Investing in a Singapore condo offers numerous benefits, with one of the most significant being the potential for capital appreciation. The country’s strategic position as a global business hub, combined with its robust economic foundations, creates a constant demand for real estate. Property prices in Singapore have consistently displayed an upward trend over the years, particularly in prime locations. As a result, investors who enter the market at the right time and hold their properties for the long term can reap substantial profits.

Controlled by former Remisier King Peter Lim, Thomson Medical Group is confident that this project will be one of the most extensive private healthcare and real estate ventures to be undertaken on prime land in Southeast Asia. With the Thomson Hospital Iskandariah as the cornerstone of the development, the project is banking on the promising prospects of Johor, known for its high quality of living and affordable cost of living, the imminent completion of the RTS, and the booming momentum of the JSSEZ.

Kiat Lim, the executive vice chairman of Thomson Medical Group, expresses excitement about the project, saying, “The time is just right. Economic conditions, infrastructure developments, and changing demographics are aligning, and we have envisioned a mega project that will not only transform the skyline but also shape the future of the JSSEZ bay area for generations to come.”

The first phase of the project will consist of the renowned Thomson Hospital Iskandariah, along with a 47-storey “ultra-luxury” residential tower. The project has received praise and support from YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, the Menteri Besar of Johor, who believes that the project’s timing and strategic location will contribute significantly to the state’s long-term goals. He also adds, “The Thomson Hospital Iskandariah project will undoubtedly enhance Johor’s reputation as a top healthcare hub in Southeast Asia, while the broader Johor Bay project will play a crucial role in our overall economic growth agenda under the JS-SEZ.”

The partnership between Thomson Medical Group and the Johor state government further highlights the potential of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, attracting significant investments from prominent developers like UEM Sunrise and GuocoLand. With such developments and collaborations in the pipeline, the future of the JSSEZ looks brighter than ever.
